NCSR Demokritos Hosted a Successful Info Day on Research, Technology & Innovation with EDA

On Tuesday 28 March 2023, NCSR Demokritos hosted a highly successful Info Day on Research, Technology & Innovation in partnership with the European Defence Agency (EDA). The event, which took place at the Congress Centre of NCSR Demokritos in Athens, Greece, attracted a wide range of participants from the Greek research community and beyond.

The Info Day focused on EDA’s research and technology priorities and provided a valuable opportunity for Greek researchers and organizations to learn about EDA’s work and explore potential areas for collaboration. The event was attended by Mr. Jean-Francois Ripoche, Director of Research, Technology & Innovation Directorate (RTI) at EDA, who delivered the opening keynote address.

The Info Day featured a range of informative and engaging sessions, including presentations on EDA’s overview, research and technology coordination, and emerging disruptive technologies. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn about CAPTECH CYBER R&T, presented by Georgios Stamatoukos, Project Officer Cyber Defence, EDA.
